Reflections of undergraduates in China

As part of our effort to explore the experience of teaching and learning by Chinese students, we asked undergraduates from various university sites to keep voice diaries. Over a period of three weeks, they recorded reflections about their private study in terms of mood, place, task and time. These have been translated and transcribed. A fuller report is available elsehwere. Here we present some comments from these diaries that relate to a small number of conspicuous themes.
