The links associated with this part of the site describe the project that generated this research, including the various individuals involved. The site provides only a selection from the experience of this Overarching Research project. A fuller account is lodged with our funders, HEFCE.
We have organised the themes covered here under four headings.
First, "Research Project" gives an outline of the Overarching Research initiative - including its parent programme "eChina~UK". Second, "This Website" describes the structure of this site and includes an account of how we authored its content in the traditions of peer review. Third, "Research Team" identifies the various individuals involved in the Overarching Research. Fourth, "Contact Us" gives institutional contact details for this project and its parent programme.
This fieldwork was carried out in both the UK and in China. We engaged with teachers and learners working in both countries. Some Chinese informants were studying at a UK university in the UK. Some were studying at Chinese universities in Beijing but also at a UK managed university in China.
